Mission and Values

Our mission is to help provide a Thanksgiving meal to those less fortunate in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. The Turkey Club engages our membership, volunteers and sponsors in an effort to raise money for the purchase and donation of as many turkeys as donations allow during the Thanksgiving season.

Overview

The Turkey Club was founded in 1978 for the sole purpose of raising funds for the purchase and donation of turkeys at the Thanksgiving holiday. All turkeys are given to food pantries and meal programs in the six county area of: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Dodge, Jefferson, Ozaukee and Washington. In 2022, The Turkey Club donated 1550 turkeys to 42 pantries and meal programs carefully selected in a joint effort with the Hunger Task Force of Wisconsin. In the last ten years, The Turkey Club has raised over 250,000 dollars and has donated 50,000 turkeys to families in need since 1978.

The Turkey Club is a non-profit 501C3 organization; tax ID #39-1802971. Our annual fundraising activities include: cash donations, corporate grants, bowling outings, a golf outing, and our annual main fundraising event which is held every year in November. The Turkey Club's operating expenses are kept at a minimum, with all the work being done on a 100% volunteer basis.
